The actual I just loved this couple from the first moment. Kirsty and Mark are both Scottish origins, but live in Dubai. Kirsty is amazing professional dancer and Mark is event. organiser, so their wedding was a lot about fun and dance.
They came to Prague 2 times before the wedding, so we had enough time to choose the venue, select vendors and meet them all. They also managed to do all paperwork before, so we didn´t have to worry about it short before wedding.
We started all celebrations on Saturday on the boat. 2 hours tour with traditional czech food and beer was the best choice we vould do!
The actual ceremony and reception was on Sunday. We all met at their hotel and took historical tram to get to Villa Richter. Bride arrived with her dad bridesmaids short before the ceremony directly. It was beautiful sunny day and priest made us all cry and laugh.
The ceremony was held at beautiful vineyard, followed by cocktail with Prosecco and canapees.
Villa is about the view, so there is no need to decorate it too much from my point of view. We wanted to add something scottish, so we used thistle in all decor, some guests wore kilt and butter cookies were served before the ceremony.
Kirsty is not just an amazing dancer, but also tallented musician. They chose beautiful songs to be played by string quartet, bride joined them and just played like she would be member of the orchestra :-).
Couple has cats at home and to remember them, we made cake as a cat – unique idea. We also added Villa´s lovely sweet and late snack, so noone got hungry. Cocktails, winw, Prosecco, food and great company – what else could we wish for?
Mark is a proud father of 2 boys and there were some other children, so the couple brought many different games to play with plus we arranged casino – roulette, photo booth and dancing mats for party after the dinner. So much fun, those who didn´t want to dance, could decide whether they gamble, take photos or dance on the matts. I tried it all and really enjoyed it!
Everone was looking forward for first dance, since Kirsty is dancer and we weren´t disappointed – it was lovely. Kirsty changed the dress in the evening and she was so attractive…
What to say at the end – I will always miss this couple and hope to see them soon again!
