Wedding trends 2017

As every year, we put together wedding trends for the following season, please enjoy and hopefully you find something nice…

COLORS

Pale tones will be also popular, but try to add bright colors into your color scheme. Ombre was in for a few seasons, but now a bit over…

Metallic mania started already in 2016, rose gold and copper were much requested and this trend will also continue in 2017. Combine the colour palette with modern touch and create fashionable-classy look.

IDEAS

All under one roof – why to lose the time by changing locations? Stay at the same place and change environment by using different lighting, bars or dessert stations!

Live Music Entertainment – what can be better than live music? The ambiance of your special day will be amplified by pianists, harpists, string quartets and DJ’s are often replaced by live bands or used together to fill in the gaps during the breaks.

Aiste and Paulius

Last year, in 2015, we had a chance to organise a few weddings and events abroad. One of them was also wedding for Aiste and Paulius, couple from Lithuania. Since they are both big lovers of mountains and totally falled in love with Chopok, their decision where to hold their wedding was simple.

They invited just a few friends from Lithuania to share their big day in more then 2.000 meters above the sea. They only one way how to get there is furnicular, which enjoyed all the guests, photographer, hair and make-up artist and officiator. And I just enjoyed night train from Prague, bus to Jasna and lift in rain up to Chopok. After a few shots of slivovice it was warm again.

Weather at mountiains in general varies a lot and  Chopok is no exception. One minute it was sunny, the other one there were such a big clouds that we couldn´t see anything. But this was something Aiste and Paulisus counted with and this weather perfectly accompanied the dramatic look of Aiste – black dress and significant make-up. We just loved it!

After ceremony couple used furnicular again to get to the other paerts of Chopok for photos and then was already time for romanric candlelight dinner with their friends. Rotunda at  Chopok offers four nice rooms, which was exactly number we needed.

I really enjoyed this wedding, couple is amazing and I wish them all the best and lots of love and happiness.  And big thanks to Peter David for photos!

Dasha and Nick

Dasha and Nick got married recently, at the end of May in beautiful Prague. Nick has Czech roots, his dad was born in the Czech Republic, his mum is from Austria, Dasha´s parents are both from Russia.

The whole planning was really nice with this couple – always happy, positive, smiling, we felt how excited they are about their BIG day.

They knew they would love to get married in catholic church and they falled in love with St. Peter and Paul´s cathedral at Vysehrad.

Couple and some of the guests stayed at lovely Pachtuv palac, also all the guests met there before departure to the church.

Beautiful ceremony with lots of emotions was followed by photo session in front of the church.

As an ideal venue, with right size and amazing venue, was Villa Richter. Lots of signature cocktails, vodka and any other drinks plus caricaturist were waiting for the guests on the terrace. Guests came from all around the world, so couple gave an option to everyone to choose their menu. Weddings in Russia have always full tables, with lots of food, so plates with different starters were given to the guests at the beginning.

Marija and Michel

Beautiful couple! Marija from Serbia and Michel from Belgia made our day very happy. Their love was shining all around!

Couple chose Old Town Hall for their civil ceremony and wec booked for them lunch at hotel U Prince on the rooftoop terrace, just acrros the Old Town Hall. After lunch they travelled around Prague and took photos with their serbian photographer.

Nice dinner was booked in the evening at pne of the most romantic restaiurants – Kampa Park.

Small, intimate and trully romantic wedding – this is what couple asked for and we let their dream came true.
