Villa Richter

Richter Villa (a classicist summerhouse from 1836) is an integral part of the St Wenceslas Vineyard, which dominates the area above the Old Castle Steps. The whole complex of the St Wenceslas Vineyard and Richter Villa is rounded off by a panorama of Prague Castle. And this is what we like about this place – you can choose from many combinations where the ceremony, cocktail and reception is gonna be and play with colours. Pale blush tones, dark chocolate, lila – all looks perfect.   Wedding ceremonies either in the vineayrd or at the restaurant are very unique and creta and unforgetable atmosphere with an amazing view. Villa has 2 floors: Piano Nobile Elite Restaurant – considered a jewel of gastronomy among our restaurants, it is aimed at high gastronomy. They provide an unusual culinary experience to the true connoisseurs not only at the traditional Villa staterooms, that bring about a feeling of coziness and a an unobtrusive charm of the “old times” with wonderful views from the windows, but also in a unique greenhouse with a ceiling decoration showing a grapevine motif. Piano Terra Medium type restaurant that in its staterooms located on the ground floor of the impressive Villa Richter as well as on the terraces belonging to the Villa offers rare views of the Lesser Town, but also New town. Above the rooftops of the Old Town they offer visitors traditional specials of the home – Czech cuisine, including true pastry and bakery delicacies according to their grandmas’ recipes, prepared by amazing bakers and pastry makers. Panorama Pergola A scenic overlook restaurant under pergola, built directly into the slope of the renovated St. Wenceslas’ Vineyard with unrivaled views of the Old Town is focused on offering tastings of wines from Bohemia and Moravia. It is complemented by a light gastronomy and specials for the moments when you are sitting over a “tasting glass”. The other thing we like there – food is always tasty and the staff is really friendly and professional, which is important. Enjoy a few pics from some of the weddings we organised at this lovely place:

Horse Park Kamenny Dvur

Recently we visited unique placed calle Horse Park Park Kamenný dvur, situated in picturesque countryside near Dobris city. There used to be Bukov castle’s farm, which belonged to Colloredo-Mansfelf family. There are many romantic spots and charming views surrounding the facility which are ideal for wedding shoots.

A modern riding center was built up in its place and now offers horses stabling in spacious box stalls with 24/7  high quality care, a riding school and four riding-halls with commodious facilities for riders and comfortable accommodation. The Horse Park is not just a place to house your horse and rest in a beautiful environment close to the center of Prague but is also the perfect place to organize weddings.

The Augustine

We recently organised wedding at The Augustine and were absolutelly excited! Centrally located in the historic Malá Strana (Little Quarter) neighbourhood, The Augustine hotel, reflects Prague’s history, character and beauty. The hotel complex, incorporating functioning monastery, St. Thomas Church, lovingly restored frescoed chambers and intimate courtyard cloisters ringed with ancient oaks and greenery, blends a spiritual sense of place with the art of simple luxury.

Crucially, The Augustine is able to offer to the wedding parties both privacy and flexibility. Housed within a single historic complex of interwoven buildings and gardens, The Augustine can offer ceremonies at St. Thomas Church, a number of options for elegant garden cocktail receptions and ballroom functions for up to 160 diners as well as unique cubist-design accommodation for the incoming wedding party. The unique bridal chamber of The Augustine, The Tower Suite is located in the original tower of the monastery, spread over three floors and featuring unparalleled 360° views over the whole of Prague, from Castle to Old Town.

Natasha and Danijel

Photo: Stepan Vrzala

We love weddings, no doubt. Some clients became our close friends during  those 13 years in business. And one of them will definitelly be Natasha. You do not see often such a nice personality, being always  positive and happy and look so good and chic!

Natasha is half Brasilian and half British, her husband Danijel is form Croatia, but both live in Prague. We got in touch in Dec last year, but met for the first time in January and already at the first meeting there was great connection.

Natasha likes nice things and she had in mind Mandarin Oriental from the beginning of our communication. Both with her fiance Danijel wanted to have all under one roof,  so we planned ceremony in the garden, followed by cocktail there. Wedding reception should originally take place also in the garden, under the tent, but later on we made a change and moved the dinner inside the Grand Ballroom.  Especially Natasha´s mum loved the ballroom.
