I just realized it is pretty hard for me to remember all wedding we have already organised, but many of them will always stay in our mind. This is also the case of Jeanie and Kuen, lovely couple from Hong Kong.
Jeanie did contact us in May with a wish to get married in August. She is a musician – playes cello – and she knew she will have a few concerts in Vienna in August. Prague is really close, so why not to come to Prague for a few day, get married here and come back to Vienna? The plan was confirmed.
It was pretty short time to book a wedding in Prague, anyway we were lucky and got a free date at the Old Town Hall – at 9.00 a.m….Anything else wasn´t available. But Jeanie and Kuen are morning birds, so we agreed on that and confirmed the date.
First priority was of course paperwork, it takes around 4 weeks in Hong Kong, so schedule wasn´t tight, but it was necessary to start ASAP.
Jeanie was great client, she always knew exactly what they want and the communication was really fast and smooth. We booked for them apartments at Male namesti, just a few steps from the Old Town Hall, which avoided travelling before the ceremony.
Jeanie was also pretty sure about her bouquet – purple eustoma bouquet, we just replaced mathiola by sweet pea and gladiola, as mathiola doesn´t stay fresh long time.
Lukas Konarik was booked for the couple, he is great photographer, always prepared to capture the best moment and especially our couples from Asia love him.
Jeanie and Kuen planned to come to Prague on Aug 9th and get married on 10th, but it wasn´t possible, as we had to finish the paperwork on Aug 8th. So they arrived on 7th at night, it was a bit hard to wake-up early in the morning, but we avoid all the crowds and finished really soon. Later in the afternoon, after relax, Jeanie enjoyed hair and make-up trial and that was the end of all work, they just relaxed and looked forward to Friday.
On Friday, already close to 7 a.m. stylist Kamila arrived to the apartment and started with the hair and make-up. A bit later arrived photographer, then videographer and me. Luckily friend of the couple managed to arrive from Vienna, so we had a guest as well.
Short before 8.30 a.m. we walked to the Old Town Hall, chose the music and finalised last details for the ceremony. Jeanie and Kuen also took with them boxes with tasty traditional czech cookies we prepared for them.
Ceremony was so romantic! Couple did enjoy it very much and we all cried…..
Necessary pics at the Old Town Hall and then was time to go for photoshooting around Prague. Lukas chose the best places to capture their love and happiness.
We booked table at Golden Well, restaurant with an amazing view, for the couple and they enjoyed there romantic lunch, just the two of them.
We like weddings full of emotions, love and happiness – and that was exatly wedding of Jeanie and Kuen. We wish them all the best in their life together and hopefully one day we will see them again….
